Manufacturers and suppliers from around the world will be in South Africa from June 25 to 27 for SAITEX 2017, Africa’s biggest expo for retailers and entrepreneurs seeking new products. There’s no doubt that the trade show will be a key focus for small and medium businesses this winter in Johannesburg.
SAITEX offers retailers the opportunity to meet manufacturers and distributors face-to-face and to see first-hand thousands of new products aimed at the southern African market. Equally the strong international visitor base makes it a great event for hundreds of South African exhibitors looking to explore export opportunities. Its success has attracted the support of Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) and this year SAITEX is part of Retail and Hospitality Week 2017, which co-locates Africa’s Big 7, the continent’s premier food and beverage show, and The Hotel Show Africa 2017, one of the world’s biggest hospitality brand shows launching on the continent for the first time.
“We believe Retail and Hospitality Week 2017 brings a unique opportunity for both exhibitors and visitors – this is a strong line up and the support has been amazing,” said Christine Davidson, Vice President of dmg events Middle East, Asia & Africa, which acquired SAITEX last year and has been instrumental in bringing one of the world’s leading hospitality expos to Africa this year.
The show takes place at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand, and opens at 10am on Sunday June 25 for three days of new product launches, networking sessions and a full free-to-attend conference Trade Buzz. Find out more about visiting the show, exhibiting or attending the conference here.
