Ericsson has launched the Ericsson Startup Challenge 2017, a competition that offers entrepreneurs an opportunity for a venture capital investment and technology incubation exposure through the Ericsson Garage global network.
- How can technology empower smart, sustainable transport in the future ?
- How can we address IoT related data privacy, identity management and security in a smart city ?
- How can sensors, robotics and Artificial Intelligence make small and medium manufacturers smart and sustainable ?
The competition will be judged by Tanya Marvin Horowitz, co-founder and managing partner, CAP A Partner, Butterfly Ventures, Börje Ekholm, President and CEO of Ericsson and Ville Heikkenin, Partner, Butterfly Ventures. In addition to winning capital investment, competition winners will spend eight months at the Ericsson Garage, in Kista, Sweden and gain access to the Urban ICT Arena for one year.
